To the fuckhead who hit a black and white cat going westbound on Mumford Rd at 10pm on the 29th… FUCK YOU! Me and the girl in the car behind me stopped, what’s your excuse? FYI the little buddy didn’t make it, so I took him home and he’ll be buried tomorrow. With any luck I hope he did a huge amount of damage to your car, you piece of shit. —Animal Lover

  1. what a horrible individual! Good on you tho for not leaving the poor guy there like a piece of trash 🙁 RIP

  2. while it is sad o.p., maybe the driver didn’t even know he hit it. i remember years back, i ran over a cat in a big oldsmobile, never even felt a bump. and if that wasn’t bad enough, someone followed me all the way home, and started shooting off their mouth. after telling him about 6 times, that i didn’t even know it, he got real fucking cocky, so i flattened him on the spot. careful is as careful does o.p., that person could’ve been you.
sometimes you just don’t know it, and if animal is small, and darts out under your car, then shit cannot be helped. but if person purposly hit cat, then that is a whole other story, and deserves an ass kicking. make sure which it is first tho.

  3. Thank you for taking this cat off the road and doing the right thing. I have posted it’s description on the “Lost and Found Cats in HRM and Nova Scotia” facebook group in case he was owned and someone is missing him. http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/groups/…

Is there a way for you to take the body into a vet and have him scanned for a microchip? It is a free service.

  4. My mum often told me…if you got nothing nice to say, sometimes you should just say nothing !
HEY Mum…. for once I’m taking your advice.

  5. IF this was a deliberate act, yes it`s shameful but they may not have realized they ran over the poor cat.

  6. he was taken to fairview animal hospital and scanned, no chip, but they held him for 72h’s in case anyone was looking for him, and then had him cremated.
