What a sight to see from my balcony last evening: a woman pushing a stroller and pulling a kid with the other arm across 4 lanes of traffic. WTF?! That’s the last thing drivers expect to see on the Circumferential Highway at 6:45 pm. Have you got shit for brains? The speed limit on the Circ is 80 km/hr but most cars easily do 100 km/hr or more. That stretch of road is not a crosswalk. Public Works built a brand new pedestrian bridge so fucking use it! Do you know what a body looks like that has been hit by a vehicle at those speeds? Do you think your children are invincible? After seeing that stunt and watching you haul your kids in for some donuts, timbits, or whatever the fuck you feed them, I called 911. I hope you enjoyed it when they showed up. Social Services should seize your kids and then sew your legs shut. —Concerned Mom

  1. some people just ave to be somewhere o.p. maybe she was going to get more ham, with her cheque, or some more crack? maybe she thought she would teach the kids, how to play dodgem, or how to collect a fat insurance settlement? so many questions, and not enough answers.

  2. I would have done the exact same thing OP. In a heartbeat. I hope she did get a good lesson from the cops when they showed up. God only knows what else those children have endured.

  3. While the walkway is a welcome addition, it really should have been put closer to Tim’s.

  4. Likely another crack hooker lugging her spawn to her work corner. If they sew her legs shut, how’s she going to support them? There should be a fence on that barrier, like they have on Victoria Road to keep the Highfield Park welfare trash away from the new housing developments.

  5. Thank fucking fuck you called the police OP. This crap behavior from crap parents can’t continue! I always see tools out there on the highway, trying to dart across in rush hour traffic. Well, I used to but now I live and work in the lovely ‘Fax and don’t often have to drive on that highway. Wait, there’s a median on that highway … did she actually lift the stroller over it? Holyyyyyy weigfhweioghw.

  6. Accoring to my former Human Factors prof, it’s just human nature to want to take the shortest route to get wherever. that’s why you’ll see grass completely destroyed beside a perfectly good walk way because it was easier to take a short cut.

    Humans are lazy.

  7. I see people crossing there all the time too. I had to put the brakes on hard there one day for a guy pushing a shopping cart. I watched him in my rearveiw after I drove by struggling to lift it over the median, dummies. The fact that someone decided to drag a stroller and a toddler across that stretch of highway amazes me, I think I would have had to pull over and slap her around a little. Common sense really is starting to go the way of the dodo bird huh ?

  8. Hey Seb, fuck you and the pretentious horse you rode in on. I live in Highfield and I’ve never been on welfare, I work hard at a good job that I worked hard to get. I work 2 jobs actually, both in Burnside. Many of my friends and co workers live there as well and none of us are criminals or welfare recipiants. I’d say my friends and I are actually doing pretty well for being under 25. My apartment is really nice and spacious and I drive a 2009 Subaru that I bought brand new. I sincerely advise you to go fuck yourself and stop passing judgements on entire communities of people you’ve never met.

That being said good for you OP, bad mothers (and fathers) wreak havoc on our society.
