So instead of teaching everyone about tolerance and how hitting / stabbing / shooting is wrong. You’d sooner teachers be allowed to hit kids.Punk kids? Absolutely.Moronic parents? I say bring back the strap and let teachers have more authority in the classroom. Nobody ever died from light corporal punishment, did they? Students died from guns brought into the school because they know they will not face any punishment for it. They know that they’ll be suspended. How do you spell v-a-c-a-t-i-o-n? Why give kids time off for bad behaviour instead of the good old strap or making the offender scrub the entire gym floor with a toothbrush?
