I HATE it when people go on and on about how they have absolutely NO money that they are quote: SO POOR – then go out the the bar, out to eat or buy a new something or other.
Seriously people it’s getting so old. No one cares how so-called “poor” you are.

thats me… in a nutshell 🙁 I have an issue with spending… Then I stress about how I have no money… Then once I get stressed, I feel better when I spend :'(But I dont talk about how broke I am all the time… well.. maybe sometimes… but not ON and ON!
Here’s what really gets my goat…someone who makes over $90,000 a year frequently bumming money for a coffee from his lowly-paid underlings. This same cheap asshole just announced he got a new colour television – it’s got a 14″ screen, he bragged. People like that make me want to puke.
What pisses me off is people who use the term “fixed income” when referring to people who are poor. Guess what – my paycheque is the same each and every week, which means I’m on a “fixed income” too. With the exception of people who work for commission, we’re all on a “fixed income”. Stop using this term when you really mean “low income”.
this would depend on the context. i know that i am perpetually ‘poor’ and ‘broke’ and when people ask me to do things that are outside the realm of possibility, i make it known. like if someone asks me to go out i say ‘sorry, i cant, im flat broke’ and it’s not a lie. but sometimes if i feel i deserve it, i’ll go out for drinks and put it on my credit card even if i cant afford it, or my boyfriend will feel guilty about leaving me home with nothing to do so he’ll pay for me. i’d be kinda pissed if one of my friends got mad over my financial decisions considering im the one who has to suffer in the end. so i guess it depends on how much bitching this person does, and if they directly affect you, like bumming money from you. if a person takes it upon themselves to prioritize differently than you would with their money, it’s not really your place to condemn them. to some people, a bill can wait til next pay day, sometimes you really just need to get out.
