You dress like a homeless person—this doesn’t make you an anarchist. You are angry and violent—this doesn’t make you a punk. Collecting welfare and living off the food bank is not living off the grid. You can tell yourself and anyone who will listen your various versions of the truth about why your life is shit, but what people see when they look at you is someone with an obvious drug problem. I believe they draw their own conclusions. And for a guy who claims to have no interest in wealth, you sure stole a lot of money from me. Yeah, I noticed. —Can’t Get Away Fast Enough

  1. …of course, if you were to weed out everyone who matches this description, Occupy N.S. could have set up camp in a bus shelter.
“MAKE THE RICH PAY (for my weed and K.D.).

  2. Yeah PK. Share, share. Inquiring minds want to know. Hotmail, if you can’t discuss here. Anything to alleviate my existentialist ennui. >; )

  3. rumorgate!

    are there rumors?
or are the rumors of rumors just rumors?
    self-perpetuating rumor mill run amok!

  4. ” Hotmail, if you can’t discuss here.”

You realize she posted that shit on here so people would pay attention to her. If it was something private she would have emailed you asshats, but no…that doesn’t provide the type of attention that feeds her unwarranted self importance.

  5. Calm the frig down guys, I was asking OB if the rumor is true and if this person actually is a drug addict. shit.

  6. I happen to enjoy feeding Pretteh Kitteh’s sense of importance. Having to share my corned bully beef hash with the Countess; now that really lances my ass-grapes.

*Sigh. I really have wasted my life >: (

  7. The only difference between my narcissism and PKs is the fact I openly admit and embrace mine. It isn’t our fault that we act this way….I blame our shit community. You people eat up the narcissistic bullshit we spew out.

Again…anytime I criticize the narcissism or unwarranted self importance of others I’m being grossly hypocritical.

  8. You’re the expert on narcissism PK. You attention whore so frequently that it shocks me you can even make normal posts. You’re almost as bad as the chicks that play online games to get attention from needy neckbeards who get hot and bothered by a females voice.

  9. I don’t know you at all. I’m making a judgement based on your comments. Just like people judge me and everyone else that comments.

This entire section of the website is used by the community to judge others based on nothing but comments, bitches, and one sided stories. If I didn’t make a judgement based on your comments then I’d be going against the natural order of what our community did to LTWWB.

  10. i love edward gorey, hmm, maybe that’s what’s wrong with me. nah, i blame poe

  11. THE CULTURE OF TRANSPARENCY: THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE SELF

“You can tell yourself and anyone who will listen your various versions of the truth about why your life is shit, but what people see when they look at you is someone with an obvious drug problem.”

If one excludes the reference to “an obvious drug problem” I think the poster is getting close to revealing a fundamental truth about our current culture in general as well as the truth about the commenters on this site in particular. The two streams of “the culture of transparency” and “the transformation of the self” are synergistic or mutually re-inforcing and work to define who we are. Well, who are we?

The question may best approached by defining who we aren’t. The phenomenal popularity of shows like Oprah Winfrey reflects a current “sea change” in the concept of personal identity, of the self. Today the notion of personal private identity is little more than a quaint curiosity, a relic of the past. Today the “zeitgeist” is one of unrestrained self-revelation, of complete transparency. In the quest for personal authenticity, nothing must be held back but what is revealed is not the quality of one’s reflection or thought – like personal privacy such a marker of one’s identity is little more than just another quaint relic of the past – but rather the genuine character of one’s feelings. It is, in effect, the on-going construction of our sentiments which determines who we are. This is what we tell ourselves and anyone who will listen to the various versions of the “truth” about who we are.

In the context of Internet social sites like Bitch this on-going self-absorption and narcissism reaches fever pitch. What people see when they look at us through our window of transparency is our unrestrained self-absorption, our craving for self- definition and approval. The various bitches may superficially be about a variety of topics but, of course, we know better. They are really all about us.

    A pleasure as always,

    Cheerio!

  12. Weed and KD go together like Stevie Wonder and Frank Sinatra starring Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscapo.

  13. goddamn, but this sounds like a half dozen losers i know. but hey, maybe they are really a nice persn in another life.

  14. I bet this person also blames the gov’t for everything wrong that happens in their shitty life, yet they happily collect that welfare check…Sounds like a douche! you’re not the only one that is being robbed by this fool, all us hard working tax payers are as well.
