I was out at Herring Cove enjoying the sunshine and climbing on rocks when my phone flew from my pocket and into the depths of a pile of boulders up on the look out. My friend and I and some helpful passer-by tried for a good forty minutes to a) locate it b) once it had been located, reach down at different angels to try and grab it and c) vainly attempt to shove one of the boulders off the pile. I had given up hope and was walking away when a lovely couple appeared, said they’d overheard the problem and offered to help. My friend and I pointed out the hard-to-see phone with some doubt… but lo and behold, you managed to pull my precious cellular device from the crevice. I was overwhelmed and extremely grateful. I never caught your names, but if you’re reading this, thank you so much again for giving it a shot and succeeding! —gratefulphonegirl
