Don’t do it unless you are prepared to feel like shit after. No matter what you think you want, once you start hooking up with him, part of you will most likely be hoping he leaves her. This is not the OP’s problem. If we are old enough to fuck each other, we are definitely old enough to make decisions for ourselves. Sure, OP knows her ex is in a relationship, but it is the ex that is in charge of his own destiny. Not to sound inconsiderate or anything, but isn’t OP just following her feelings? It would be different if she was friends with the new gf…. If her ex wants to jeopardize his current relationship to engage in nostalgic passion with an ex he still has feelings for and is willing…. well that’s his mess to deal with. We only live once. I say live each day for all it’s worth. Just don’t get emotionally attached again, cause that’s where it gets all fucked up again.
