I hate cell phones. I hate all of the people that use cell phones. I especially hate people on the bus talking on cell phones. Our world is in fucking trouble when no one can live without a cell phone. Oh yeah, titter and facecrack suck too! —You suck

  1. Well, aren’t you just a ray of fucking sunshine, OP.

If the utilization of cell phones makes you angry enough to come on here and bitch about it, I’d say you have way more problems than people using their cellphones.

Here’s a suggestion, OP (I’ll go slowly so you can understand): miiiind. yooour. oooown. buuuusiness. As long as they’re not doing it in a restaurant or movie theatre, library, etc… who gives a shit? If it bothers you that much on the bus get an ipod and drown out the sound. Ipods on metro transit work wonders.

  2. Who cares if people are talking on phones on the bus? really? would it bother you if they were talking to the person in the seat next to them instead? It’s just someone. Talking. Not a big deal. Are you jealous because you have no friends and no one to talk to?

As long as they aren’t somewhere where the social norm is to be silent (as listed by PK in the post above), fuck off and mind your own business.

  3. I think I’m getting an Android phone after pay day, can’t wait to annoy people like the OP! 😀

  4. “Are you jealous because you have no friends and no one to talk to?”

    AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I use my cell phone for three things: msn while on long bus trips, texting, and as a sooky blanket for my parents so they get off my ass about having to be able to contact me at all times. My folks REALLY need to cut that cord. lol I don’t talk to anyone on my phone ever except my mom and dad. *shrug*

  5. Cell phones are fine – the issue I have is how fucking long and loud people talk on them – I really don’t give a shit if you want to spew out your life publicly but when you drown out my goddamn iPod, then I have a problem.

  6. “Our world is in fucking trouble when no one can live without a cell phone.”

Why? People have become dependent on almost every type of new technology since the invention of the wheel. This is just the latest addition to that long history. The only reason you hate it so much is because you were alive to see the transition, just like some people in the past hated typewriters or cars back in the days of handwritten letters and horses.

  7. I also say yay for android :)! Why I’m writing this on my phone as we …type! Actually I’m swyping ;D

  8. I will agree that there are people who are addicted to their Ipisses and Crackberries. They’re with people in a group and instead of talking to each other they just have to yak on their phones or check for the latest updates.

  9. i also agree people can become consumed with their ‘cellular devices’ and when used at inappropriate times, it DEFINITLY irritates the crap out of me.
    i think facebook sux fo’shizzle.
    just my opinion.

  10. cam yourself o.p., 2012 is almost here. then they can call and text each other, as they are being incinerated by atomic weapons, bring er’ on baby.

  11. I don’t hate cellphones as much as ppls who don’t practice proper cellphone etiquette. I hate when someone doesn’t have one because inevitably a situation will arise when it becomes a huge inconvenience (Trying to meet someone somewhere for example)
Ppls just need to learn how to ignore a text or tell someone “I’m busy right now, I’ll call you later”. Try it, it’s empowering. Ppls just make themselves WAY too available to everyone but the ppls who are right next to them in the real world. When I’m hanging out with a friend and they constantly text I find it really rude. The sad thing is that I’m getting used to it, as we all are. We need to demand that ppls be polite and not have their phone glued to their face all the time. Once we accept that as the norm we’re in trouble. It’s already happening.

  12. “I don’t hate cellphones as much as ppls who …” I could roll wif you dood. Simply becasue you said ppls (even if it was a typo, it was destiny) and your disdain for incessant texters. I left my phone at home when I went away on vacay for 2 weeks, left the haters here. Mmm yes.
