$8.25 for a Heineken draft?! Holy inflation, Bruce Wayne! What’s happened to you? This price is acceptable for your enormous Hoegaarden draft, but for a Heineken — neither rare, nor in a large quantity?

Hoegaarden… ug.. looks like pineapple juice and tastes WAY worse….
I went to the Rogers Centre recently… a can of stella was $10.25!
cripes!
Drinking beer in a bar is way too expensive, its why I dont go out anymore. I would rather spend my 20 bucks on a case of beer as opposed to what maybe three at a bar?
If you paid $8.25 for some Heiny the server must have dropped her styrofoam titties on your head and given you a brain spasm.
$8.25 for a Heineken …. let alone $8.25 for a pissy draft. That’s insane. I agree with Kirbul…the bars here are charging way too much. And cover charges…..would it kill the bar to at least offer a free drink with each cover charge. Other cities do, why not Halifax?
some beer is better in draft form…and there is some beer i might pay 8.25 for and Heineken is definitely not one of them. 8.25$ is waaaaay too much for something drained from a urinal in Holland. If you are gonna drink an import, try something original, not that piss. Ick.
I always cringe when somebody orders a draught beer from me at work. A pint of Coors comes to 6.90, and Heineken is almost 9.00. I’ve taken to telling them the price before I pour it, given how many people have raised a fuss over their bills.
