I’m sick of all these jag-offs complaining that we haven’t had enough nice weather this summer. It’s hotter than a cow’s face every day so settle down and stop treating one day of rain a week like the end of your world.

It’s so hot up there central AC is pretty common….I dunno anyone here with central AC….
And still, I heard less people complaining about the heat up there while outside. And that’s with rolling black outs because everyone was pumping up the AC — I worked in a fed gov’t building and we’d have our lights and AC shut off in the afternoons to prevent power outages and NO ONE complained about the heat.
The “heat” here is NOTHING….even compared to the valley….shit.
So you must have been too busy measuring the cows facial temperature to see that June and July sucked ass weather-wise. More heat I say, to you I say one thing…..Northern Saskatchewan. I believe summer should be hot and sunny, so douche bags like you get your vitamin d, as it is a well documented cure for douchebaggerism.
It’s not the heat that’s unbearable. It’s the humidity.

Like Davis said, it’s the humidity. It works both ways. AC systems are not common here but de-humidifiers and air-filtration systems are very common in new housing. This is why. You don’t need AC to combat the heat when you’re dry. Today you wouldn’t feel chilled if the humidex were down.

The cool air from the down draft during a thunderstorm will usually cool things off abit. The humidity bothers my asthma but other then that I don’t mind it, I just like watching a good lightning show!
Who hopes for a drop in humidity while at the same time hoping for a thunderstorm, snap? Only sunshine burns it off. Every wonder there’s mist on the ocean EVERY morning?

We still haven’t had enough nice weather. May, June and july were garbage months. We still have half of august. Hopefully it’s nice n sunny for the rest of the month and for sept and Oct.
I think the whole summer I probably had my bike out 10 time due to poor weather.
It’s not just the rain. it’s sometimes cold on sunny days!
