Making your cookie with honey doesn’t make it “sugar-free and healthy”. Honey is sugar. Agave nectar is sugar. Maple Syrup is sugar. MAYBE you’ll get some benefits from honey if you are eating unprocessed local honey, but most of you aren’t. The honey that you buy in the grocery store is just as processed as table sugar. Stop unfairly demonizing table sugar while continuing to eat crap that just as bad. —Don’t Fucking Fool Yourself

Yeah my guess is that people consuming refined honey extrapolate the benefits of raw honey to refined honey. So the relative benefits are overstated. Fucking uninformed hipster movements.
While they are sugars they react in the body differently that regular refined white sugar. I use agave because it doesn’t creat those drastic rises and falls in blood sugar.
If you don’t like any of those options don’t use them.
Must be a chunky fat person’s way of losing weight while devouring a tray of cookies…..”oh it’s healthy…I made them with honey.”
If you want to be healthy just don’t eat fucking cookies.

Hey Cupcake, sweeten up sugar buns!
don’t sugar coat it o.p., we can handle the truth.
maple syrup also doesn’t spike your insulin… and is fucking delicious.
why exactly is table sugar ‘bad’ in and of itself?
oh, right, it’s not.
just don’t consume a metric fuck-ton of it and you should be just fine.

Low in the Glycemic Index?
“Refined” Honey is simply heated and filtered to get rid of bee parts etc. “Unrefined” is also heated, and the crud skimmed off the top rather than filtered.
