To the guy who works at a tea store in the Halifax shopping center, thanks for the pity tea. The cup of tea I bought was gross and tasted like sea food, the cup you gave me to replace it was delicious. It was also really nice when you decided to push off your break, remembering me two days later, in order to serve me today. Things like this are a reminder of why I love the city. —I Like My Tea Scallop Free

I love tea
Aw! That’s nice. Good customer service is always wonderful. And I find the folks in those tea shops really are super friendly and passionate about teas! I’ve never had so many delicious choices under my nose all at once. Mmmm…. tea. Think I’ll go steep my newest tea: exotica.
moi aussi mamab, i start jonesing for one around three o’clock
RC, I think you meant
This love brought to you by the symbol <, the number 3, and the letter T
I get my craving at 3pm as well Miss Pian – but tea has been giving me the worst heart burn lately!! I’m going to go to the tea shop on SGR and see what different kinds they suggest that are caffeine free.
Hope you had a good time at your concert Mr Z…I seen all the Goth looking people lining up at 5pm outside the Metro centre.
back to the ol, why the heck would the tea taste like seafood?
ralmn: I have exotica. It smells great, but I just can’t get it to steep well enough.
It’s like whenever I get tea from that place it never steeps strong enough — no matter how long or how much I put in or how hot the water is. I get a better cup of tea from grocery store stuff and the stuff from starbucks (mmm passion tea!).
I don’t know what it is but I’m just inept at making loose tea 🙁
Aw, that’s a bummer, PK. It’s kind of a light floral/fruity. It’s not supposed to be too strong, I don’t think. Maybe you need a new tea ball??
Oh, and I usually put a bit more than a teaspoon in the tea ball at a time too.
I have one of that particular stores steeping mugs — the ones with the ceremic top and the metal thing that sits on top for the tea to steep in. Though, lately, I’ve been using it for my cup of soup I have as a snack in the morning.
I think my problem is I like my tea super super strong, and I don’t think this particular place has strong blends. I gave mine to my mom and I gave some to my dad and they seem to love it.
So I guess I’ll be sticking with my passion tea. You can get it at superstore now super inexpensive compared to sbux, and it’s just…. delightful. I put one bag in a cup and then 1.5 packets of splenda. Caffeine free too! It’s also great iced with a bit of lemonaid, but only when sbux makes it. I can’t figure out how to make it taste the same iced at home!

Add in some grey spots and that’s kitten molly!
Yessss! I have that one too, Frenchie. Holy man, it’ll fix a mid afternoon chocolate craving pretty quickly. 😀
I’m with Frenchie: Read My Lips is my fave!
I was in that particular store the other day and love it in there. Their service is always top notch. I heart them.
