I’m home from school (dal)For the summer in Ontario. Drivers here are lunatics. I’m Always telling my friends how amaziny kind haligonians are and talk about it like it’s my place of birth. I love it. My friend was up at his cottage and was walking across a deserted walmart parking lot in the middle of no where. He found himself in front of an 18 wheeler that had just started up and gotten into gear and was ready to set out ( it’s hard to start those up) instead of motoring on in front of him the truck stopped and waived him on. Remembering the stories I had told him, my friend just smiled and was not surpised when he looked back and saw the rigs liscence plate – nova scotia with a dartmouth sticker. Thanks to the drivers of Halifax and to all haligonians … Just for being so amazing.

  1. I agree with you. Thanks for bringing it up.

Interestingly for me, a few days ago there was a “Love the way we bitch” about Halifax drivers stopping for pedestrians crossing the road who weren’t even at a crosswalk. I’d love to hear of any other city that has that “problem”. 🙂
