I suppose the doctors, nurses, hospital staff, police, snow plow operators, NS Power, Paramedics, 911-operators to name a few should also bitch about having to venture into work in nasty weather. These lives matter.
This province has become a bunch of wienies when it comes to snow. A bit of the fluff comes down and it shuts down.

Life in Canada is not for everyone I guess. Grow a spine.
OP, you should definitely try to get a job in and move to the southern states. There is no northern city that completely shuts down because of snow. N.S is easy, try doing a winter in Edmonton or Toronto. I’ve never lived there, but I hear New Brunswick is a little on the snowy side too.
