This is really getting old…
I saw a raccoon in my garden last night; just a baby…
I saw a deer in my back yard last night. Sweet little thing. Fed it some apples.
I ran out of cereal this morning so I couldn’t go to work.
This is getting really old…get over it.
NO NORMATIVE CONNOTATIONS
How can the sign for Wright Avenue itself be right or wrong? A street sign does not normally give the name of the city in which it is found. Why should Wright Avenue be any different?
The larger question, of course, relates to the fact that all proper names, such as Wright Avenue, carry no normative connotations. For example, to ask whether “Montrealman” is right or wrong is incoherent. Montrealman may perform actions or commit deeds to which the modifier “right” or “wrong” might have application but, by itself, it carries no normative connotations whatsoever.
Thank you.
Where’s the fucking taggers when you need ’em? If they want to deface something, that fucked up logo should keep ’em plenty busy.
Its the Halifax Regional Municipality, just like the buses in Scarborough Ontario say City of Toronto, the sign in Dartmouth, which is in the Halifax Regional Municipality say Halifax. Its really pretty simple to understand.
I love how the inbound lane from bicentennial near the Halifax Shopping Center still says Metro Centre

(I know it’s an old image, but the sign still hasn’t been changed)
Its a weird place, with really weird, petty neighbours that take themselves extremely seriously.
They really are rubbing it in though. Have you been to Alderney Landing lately? They have installed 5 flag poles just to wave a “Halifax” flag.
Head south on Windmill, then go left onto Wright, then take the third left off Wright, then take three rights back onto Wright, go straight until you hit the lights and take a right off Wright and keep going north.
