  1. I love when people balk at the cost of remediation of a site, preparation of a site and building a state of the art convention centre, business tower, condo complex, and shopping district. Shit costs money and people ain’t donating their time, equipment or skills for free!!! People complain constantly about how “Nova Scotia’s wages suck and that’s why everyone is leaving for greener pastures out west”. Well guess what, if you want a living wage, shit gonna cost you.

    I don’t care if you think it’s a waste of money or not, the decision has been made making your opinion on that moot, but you didn’t really think that we could get it built for a case of beer and a half pack of smokes did you?

  7. What wrong with the one we have?. Is it overflowing with activity year round? Now to spend another 500 mil for a building to admire that could go for so many needed causes, imo.
