Just sending some love to the #7 Gottingen/Robie driver who assisted an elderly lady with the cane today. You helped her off the bus and walked her across the street to the bus stop she needed to be at. So sweet! I’ve also seen you ask people, while pulling up to SS, if they are waiting for any of the buses stopped. If they are, you honk to the bus so they don’t pull away and have a connection missed. I am in love. —Hope for Humanity

  1. That is really awesome.

At the same time, I’m wondering how long before there is a bitch about a bus driver making them late because he was helping an old lady across the street. 😛

  2. Anyone who would bitch about THAT needs a pole shoved up their ass!

This is a great bitch 🙂 There *are* some really great drivers out there.

Sidenote: I saw PDG on Wednesday at SS around 5:30pm and made eye contact, but he didn’t recognize me. I was CRUSHED! lol. I was hoping, though, that he’d be picking up the route I was taking, but no dice 🙁

  3. Fuck sakes, PK! What is wrong with you? 🙁

    IT’S A GREAT LOVE, OK?

I’m all fucked up today 🙁 I just found out I accidently overwrote a file earlier in the week I stayed late to finish and have to do a whole report over again too. This week sucks.

  4. haha I am not, Brit! I just thought it was neat at first to know who a bitcher was because everyone at that point was anonymous to me. Now it’s old hat because I have faces to so many screen names 🙂

  5. Not me folks. I don’t honk unless I get a request, or I have a regualr I know wants that bus.

Actually PK, I did recognize you. I just didn’t get a chance to say hi as my bus to the bridge was leaving. I’m back on regular shifts again (weekends off, w00t!) and I’ll be there at that time every Tuesday & Wednesday. I meant to ask you about the summit as my lack of checking LTWWB means I’m short on details. If you’ve got any details, addstories@hotmail.com

And since it was brought up, 3 guesses as to what my favourite episode of Corner Gas is.

  6. I DID see a woman driving with a small dog on her lap today PG, the same way a parent might let their kid “drive”. It was equal parts scary and cute.

  7. This is a great love! I’ve had a nice bus driver on the #7 lately – I hope this is the same guy, I believe he would. 🙂
