Hey there, Armbrae Academy. You should consider getting a coffee shop or cafe in your school.
I assume it will do well, since all of your students are in line at Dalhousie’s, being generally irritating and travelling in groups of 10 in the line-up, because the one girl getting an iced cappuccino needs all those friends with her. Yes, they’re just kids, but guess what – it’s a university. Where I pay to study, not listen to them squealing and giggling so loudly it echoes down the halls. Can you control their every move? No, but they’re doing a poor job of representing the school all the same.
And can you please, please, make the skirts longer? Guys around here are looking at them like they’re prime rib at a deli. It’s gross.
Also, guys: stop being gross!

You see a lot of kids from the Grammar School at SMU, but I haven’t really experienced much obnoxiousness aside from the tables they take up in the already small cafeteria in the student centre.
I agree with the skirts though — it’s like private schools WANT creepy men to lear at 12 year old girls in short skirts. it *is* gross.
They get issued those skirts when they’re 7. New, they’re floor length but as they get closer to graduation that same skirt gets pretty short. Sad but true.
It is very frustrating for those kids to be there though. When I was at ye olde Dal, they used to go to the Robin’s (then eventually Tim’s) and the Second Cup in the Killiam Library. Bloody frustrating when you’re just dropping by to get a coffee on the way to a class.
I went to Armbrae for High School, and there’s a rule about how long the girls are allowed to wear their kilts- not that they ever have, or will, follow said rule.
Unfortunately, Armbrae has never allowed even pop or snack machines into their building, so I don’t imagine coffee is going to start anytime soon. It’d be nice, though!
Public school doesn’t allow those things either anymore, halifilm.
That’s why you get the influx of students at the Infirmary ordering greasy shit for lunch. That and the fucktards who designed a certain highschool close to Citidal Hill didn’t account for the student population in their cafeteria design.
It’d be worse at Dal and SMU if there was a larger populated public school close by. When I was at a certain “wolfvegas” university we’d get quite a lot of the jr highers from the nearby school coming on campus to get food at lunch. I never understood why because the food sucked, but judging by their behaviour they thought they were “cool” because they honestly believed we thought they were in university too. It was amusing more than anything.
agreed.
i work just down the hall from the trough they gather at, and its always the same thing, just before the lunch rush.
the administration of the school needs to be contacted and complained about.
i had instances when, i was sitting in a hallway reading up on lecture material waiting for class, and those little brats purposefully squeeling with their wet shoes on the tiles and enjoying the echo.
