When you come up to me in a small restaurant in which the tables are all full and there are also people standing waiting for their takeout orders, don’t stand there fucking glowering at me like I killed the baby Jesus, when I tell you there will be a wait for your order. In our establishment, we serve F-O-O-D, and I believe the place you mistakenly believe you are serves billions. Go there and take your puckered asshole face with you.

the thing is alot of these people work in say a bank; can you imagine the response/look if you got a pissy on when looking for a loan on say a busy friday; but hey your just a viddle slinger and a lowly minion in their worlds

Good one! I do take out just about every week and I have to say that this is a bit of an issue everywhere I go; fast food has ruined people’s patience for food… It’s sad really. I even see it at other fast food places where they’re clearly cooking the meat and people complain that they had to wait an extra minute for their fresher product. Gah, I don’t miss that industry.

The only thing that kind of ticks me off when it comes to take out is when there’s an eat in option and those who come in and sit down are served before I get my food (and they’re eating the same thing I am!).
I think whomever gets there first should get their food first! However, I have noticed that take out has always been a lot faster than eat in service. I don’t pick up take out that often (order it there and wait) though, I usually get it delivered…that’s part of the whole take out experience: you can have someone else do the cooking while you laze around in your jammies 🙂

What kind of pisses me off is when a server says it’ll be about a 15 minute wait, and you’re waiting almost an hour for your food! I think that would warrant some “puckered asshole faces.” Not always their fault, I know. Not always anyone’s fault, or it’s some sort of combination of everyone’s fault.
If it’s the Spring Garden Road Maccas you’re talking about, forget any kind of quick service there! Most of the time, they take longer than most restaurants.
If its thats long a wait – I usually ask for a porno mag and where the bathroom is – they’ll hurry up lmao !!!!
