To a certain grocery store near Mumford, please have fresh fruits and vegetables at all times, remove food that has expired from your shelves, remove dented cans, stop turning your freezers off overnight and then turn them back on in the morning. I have bought hamburg that smelled awful when I opened it, crackers that were expired, frozen muffins that were all gooey full of ice, and milk that was sour before the due date.—Shopping elsewhere

ever hear tell of someone called a health inspecter, they inspect places like this for said reasons.
Write to corporate. They actually do pay attention when you mention “food poisoning” and “media” in conjunction with each other. What you’ve got there is most likely an asshole store manager.
STOP GOING TO THAT DUMBASS. And don’t say it the only one close
dented cans are not a health & safety issue. it’s a misinformation issue. unless the seal has been broken, a dented can is fine. bulging cans are a different story.
i am a mythbusting coaster.
Quit shopping at needs and get off your lazy ass and go to a real grocery store
I actually wrote corporate to complain about popcorn bags that opened while in the microwave. They wrote back right away and offered compensation provided I had the packaging. I’m sure if you did the same they’d refund you and put pressure on the store to clean up their act.
All their stores are subpar in my estimation. Tried switching a few months ago until I realized they charge a hell of a lot more for their food than their main competitor. Plus their house brand sucks a big stump.
i don’t think they have a test kitchen…their gastronomic expertise involves lots o salt
I’d say compare this to another store that you know to see if this happens normally or not. Sounds like people there don’t especially care. The frost on frozen food issue is probably the shelf stockers leaving the doors open too long when they’re stocking, or more likely the items you buy are among the last to be placed in the freezer from the pallet.
Does this grocery store give AirMiles?
oui
Stop food shopping at Lawtons then.
Too funny. I like the Sobeys at Mumford. I’ve been avoiding all Superstores based on shopping at Quinpool. Weird, eh?
I know someone who works at Sobeys at Mumford and he told me they didnt pass their inspection.
According to the gov’t website, they passed: http://gov.ns.ca/agri/foodsafety/reports/D…
The sushi bar, on the other hand: http://gov.ns.ca/agri/foodsafety/reports/D…
Not according to Roger they didnt. One of my close friends bought a fruit cup there that had yogurt in it and threw it up. 2 years ago there were rats in the kitchen and the bakery was filthy.
