How many rude things can you say about someone buying a bottle of water? Before you get too high and mighty, there are poisons in the plastic of water bottles and the fluoride thing is overblown.
Just buy a Brita and avoid the whole situation entirely.

Same but different, one especially warm summer evening some asshole “mansplained” to me about how my Vitamin water I bought and was sipping at Mumford terminal was a waste of money not actually any healthier wakka wakka wakka. I bought it as a treat because I like that flavour and had time to kill before my bus. I wasn’t looking for a master’s thesis from a stranger about my purchase choice.
(I have not waited for a bus at Mumford since and especially make sure that I cycle to and from my business on and around the Halifax Shopping Centre, Bayer’s Road, etc., partially to avoid the crazies at Mumford who think I want to have a conversation late at night with strange men about fucking vitamin water)
I don’t comment on stranger’s food or exercise habits and expect them to extend me the same courtesy.

Frappuchinos are expensive and spitting is vile so I contented myself with laughing in her face instead.

Reg, Brita filters only clean out a bit of dirt. Get a reverse osmosis filter if you want your water to be truly clean.
And the fluoride thing is overblown in the sense that it isn’t some insidious government agenda. (Everyone has had one of those conspiracy theory friends at some point. -_- Ugh.) It’s not good for your health, though. A lot of countries have banned the practice.
Tooth decay is far more of a health hazard than the amounts of fluoride in drinking water. That said, fluoride is dangerous if consumed in concentrated doses but not so much in trace amounts.

What CoastingBy said. I just got a ZeroWater a couple of weeks ago, it does what it claims. I just don’t know how long it will last (been some bad reviews).
@Reg Actually, most dentists have stopped using fluoride on adults due to it being proven it has no advantage on adult teeth, and in fact, it has disadvantages on our health as stated. The other dentists just haven’t caught up. My dentist was just talking to me about this actually.
i remember getting fluoride treatments in school, no one opted out in those days. i wouldn’t let the dentist give the boy any, he has no cavities

i opted out of fluoride treatment in school. I have a mild allergy to it and in large doses, i get massive migraines and throw up for a few days.
And i fucking drink tapwater.
I’ve been told ( & there is scientific proof ) the heating of water to boiling kills germs.
As to flavour it is one of those personal preference things that has no right or wrong to do with it.
Finally if you all would simply drink bottled beer, you get the boiled water, flavour of your choice & glass container , instead of plastic…. For a win, win , win scenario ~;)
