To the two red bandana bandits who stole a fully clothed mannequin from my store in Bayers Lake, I hope the rush from your little initiation stunt was worth it you disrespectful, thieving little bitches!! No self respecting, honourable group, team or organization is worth breaking the law for, nor should they ask you to in order to prove your loyalty, it’s the exact opposite of what decent human beings do!! I hope you felt at least an ounce of guilt or lost some sleep knowing you ripped me off. If you have a shred of remorse or common sense you’ll return what isn’t yours and prove you have the balls to do what’s right!! If you don’t, Karma’s a bitch just like you and your so-called besties who probably won’t remember your name in 20 years!!! —Manager J

That’s right, mannequins don’t just get up and walk away! Do they? I hope not (gulp).
I’m not sure if it’s usually there, because I’m new to the city, but there was an odd looking mannequin tied crudely to a pole near Spring Garden… It scared the crap out of me at first!
This must be a new thing for university students.
Great now I keep humming Mannequin by Boys Brigade…
Of course, the mannequin is humming “And I Ran” by Flock of Seagulls.

Thank goodness I didn’t see that freaky thing tied to a pole. I would have crapped on the spot. Yes, it’s true. Mannequins give me anxiety attacks. I have had a phobia since childhood. Its not as funny as it sounds. Especially if I come across any @ work, like the cpr trainer…that thing scares the crap out of me. I’ve been the but of a few jokes, like hiding the damn thing where I’m sure to run into it. Colorful words fly. I have to walk WIDE circles around them. I know. I’m nuts. Bad funeral experience as a child.
they don’t walk away, not unless they are vanna white.
I can’t be the only one who remembers this (albeit very forgettable) movie

We’ll let those good folks at Family Guy have the last word on THAT!:

I think I can beat that, zZz.
Growing up in the 80’s on PEI, every afternoon I was subjected to TVOntario kids programming, (go figure). One of the shows that used to come on was a Canadian show about a mannequin who would come to life at night in a Toronto department store when the display designer put a magic hat on his head. Anyone else remember this? (Jesus I’m dating myself!):

It was called Today’s Special
Sigh…FML.
yeah, I remember that show too..
with ‘Muffy’ *snigger*
How did this emotional attachement to this manequin begin? Do you have a romantic relationship with it as well? How do red bandanas come to upset you so much? Can Karma affect those who don’t beleive in it?
