  1. Maybe it’s a brainwashing, mood enhancing attempt by the management to keep you motivated. Do they play “I Believe I Can Fly” or “We Are The Champions” as well?

  2. I wonder if the Bitch editor has some random tag generator/theorem they apply to bitches.
    Perhaps…
    <4 ! = witty tag
    <10 ?/! = cautionary response tag
Sarcasm fueled rant = come again?
    Legitimate bitch…blank.

  3. Isn’t there some law that requires ALL classic rock radio stations to play “double shots” of Journey that ALWAYS start with “Lovin’ Touchin’ and Squeezin'” and ALWAYS end with “Don’t Stop Believin'”?

I thought it was mandatory or something.

  4. The the station is brought to you by the letter C, or if it bounces, then you’re hearing thew crappy remix 5 times a day. Listen to stations that would play Journey once in a while instead.

  5. It could be worse… I work at the mall, and the speakers have been playing a mixed CD of crappy Christmas music for a month. It’s the same 40 songs or so on a loop, and I’ve got another 2 months left of listening to it

  6. Trust me, Mind Snap, some of the customers resent mall Ghristmas music too, the only difference is that we can leave. I am not a fan of forced Christmas music. Especially in November. Then it only makes me angry because all I hear is a crass attempt to encourage me to part with my money, which I will do anyway, without musical prompts, because I want to and when I want to. Not because I am being manipulated by unwanted mall music. One more reason to shop throughout the year so that one is finished before the crass commercialism begins. Joy To The World!

  7. OceanLady: Customers also have the options to listen to their MP3/iPods/Whatever to drown out the horrid Christmas Songs done by the likes of Fall Out Boy, or Taylor Swift, ect
As you mentioned, and like I tell my own customers; you can leave the mall! :'(

  8. You have my full sympathy Mind Snap…my mind would snap too if I had to endure the audio torture you do every day! And your right about the ipod. It comes in handy year-round as rarely do the stores I shop in play music that is to my taste.

  9. You know, there is no such thing as South Detroit. Technically speaking, that would be Windsor, ON.
    ……just sayn’

  10. The three major rock stations here in Halifax… can I name them, Coast? Well fuck ya’s I’m doing it anyway cause I’m badass: Hal FM 89.9, Kool FM 96.5, and The Home of Rock’n’Roll Q (Q Q Q QQQQQQ… 104) play this song at least five times a day each! All at different times, of course, so you can possibly hear “just a city boy… born and raised in South Detroit” taking the midnight train going anywhere up to 15 fucking times! Bryan Adams also tends to get far more airplay than he deserves.

On the other hand, I have to say that I am impressed with one of these three radio stations lately for playing some decent late 80s – early 90s rock music lately, sometimes. I actually heard Faith No More on the radio here for the first time, ever, and with Alice in Chains making a bit of a comeback, starting to hear some more of their old stuff too. Wicked!

  11. I agree. I swear I’ve heard this song on the radio more in the last few months than I did when it was actually new way back when. Ugh!

  12. As much as everyone on here seems to hate the remixed version, I have to admit I love it. That being said, I’ve only heard it while drunk at a club or something, and I love the original so it gets me quite pumped as well as everyone else in the club because you can hear people screaming the lyrics over the music :D.

  13. I hear this song every time i go downtown atleast once. and single person seems to be feeling the fuck out of it aside from me
