You know who you are, the oldest person on earth still driving a car. Drive yourself to the funeral home already, there is a casket waiting with your name on it. We all know how hard it is to give up a few privileges as we get older. We feel for you really we do but seriously—should you be driving? NO you shouldn’t. You are on borrowed time my friend, so spend it wisely. Don’t spend your time behind the wheel of a motorized vehicle PLEASE. You are scary to look at on a normal day but behind a wheel – wow… too much. Do you even know what year it is? Can you even see over the hood ? Why can’t you get a cab or a family member to drive you to wherever it is you want to go? Got no family members left alive? Then that’s a clue that you are too old to be driving. Stop it right now and save a life – your own. —Too Young to Go with You

  1. Reminds me of that old woman who was given a GPS as a gift, used it, and drove into a building nearly killing a few people.

  2. Can’t wait till you are old and some ignorant kid says the same thing about you! Wonder what kind of driver you are!?

  3. I’m with OP in this one. But I’m more concerned about others they’ll kill or child they back over in a parking lot.

Doctors and family members need to grow a pair and tell those oldsters when it’s time to pack it in when they’re in denial or don’t have the sense stop on their own.

  4. Definitely should be a limit as we get older. OP if you want to see this x 10, move to Victoria BC.

  5. I don’t necessarily agree with how OB has phrased their sentiment but I don’t totally disagree either. Driving is a privilege not a right. When for some reason you are no longer able to drive with care and caution, not to mention the ability to move along with traffic then your PRIVILEGE should be revoked.

Im not the OP, but that shouldnt be an issue as Im sure cars will drive themselves by this time.

OB…itis incredibly dangerous when you see just how these senior drivers bottle neck the roads etc. I have driven 30 kms an hour & less on the corners, on my road which is posted 70kms, on more than one occasion out here, the gentleman has to be a hundred, he hasn’t got a tooth left, can’t close his mouth & can barely walk…but he still putts slowly down the road out here.
It would actually be funny if it wasn’t so damn dangerous !

  8. “we feel for you”

    Listen, fucktard.
Don’t presume to speak for everyone on this. If they pass the test and gave a valid license, they get to drive.
Speaking as a 42 year old with a disability, my ability to drive is representative of my independance and makes my life a bit more awesome, so I don’t have to ask for drives from knobs like you. Put yourself in someone else’s shoes. If you were older and had a valid license, and some young turd took an easy dig because *we ALL know old fuckas can’t drive. Right?!*, how would YOU feel?

Back the fuck off with that shit.
We can retest people after a certain age, but just taking a whole class of people off the road because assholes like you want to fuck with them is bullshit.
    Go fuck yourself.

  9. “Awwwww, poor baby, got stuck behind a slow driver for 5 minutes.”

If you can’t manage to safely drive at the speed limit or above get the fuck off the road. Like driving 40 in a 60 zone? Eat shit!

  10. hey imbecile. I can’t help but notice that you said nothing about the man’s driving and focused only on his age.

Wanna know what i think? You’re aware of your OWN aging and this is a self-hating rant. You’re an entitled turd and you sound like an old blowhard. To me anyway.
