I wrote a past bitch here about my lovely lady co-workers and the enviornment. I hope SOMEONE I work with reads this and clue’s in but dammit I highly doubt it.

Thanks again ladies for making my life a living hell at work. What the hell is wrong with 98 percent of you, can ANY of YOU MIND YOUR BUSINESS. I am tired of the remarks to my face, behind my back. I am sick to death of the Office Manager talking about me to staff. RETIRE, your 600 years old anyway…..geesh. I am tired of you DH asking me if I am catching up on the news when I was re ading the paper on my BREAKTIME! Then going to try and tell my boss I am fucking around. It’s unreal.

Does every office that has the majority of it’s staff being women deal with this bullshit on a daily basis, if so, what the hell do you do? I am certaintly not quitting becuase of it. That is for sure!

The only women at work not on her period!

  1. While I have worked with some great women, a majority I’ve dealt with during my office career have been nosey old trouts with no lives outside the parimeters of their cubicles. I now work exclusively with men and I can’t even begin to tell you how much easier it is. With most guys, what you see is what you get, no hidden agendas, no back stabbing and mind games, no bitter middle-aged twats who are jealous of anyone who is young and enthusiatic about their job. I honestly can’t believe how some women treat other women. It goes beyond harrassment – it is pure evil the way these bitches operate. One strategy is to keep a journal and present it to your head honcho or union rep with evidence of how they are interferring with your job. Also make sure you take your breaks off the premises. My sympathies to you. I’ve been there.

  2. Yep I have been there too…and boy did it suck. I worked for an institution that everyone would know, it is mandated by the government but run privately. Anyways it was an office that had roughly 65-70% women in the workforce there, with a few exceptions there was so much BS going around it would have clogged one of those industrial toilets with the super flush. Now I work in an office that is 100% male operated and let me tell you it is simply awesome, no more backstabbing and lying, no more being called in for a “review” only to have to defend against flagrant lies and fabrications. I was part of the NSGEU and I still had to put up with some pretty spectacular abuse, even from my manager right in front of my union lawyer (who was an amazing person).Let’s just say that manager had to leave with less than a year left before her pension came due, they said to everyone it was by choice….hmmmm you think?Needless to say I wouldn’t return to work for that department again even if the tripled my wages that I earn now…it’s a shame because it was just primarily that one department but alot of the guilty have moved to other departments now, thus spreading their caustic version of “Co-operation” to the rest of the offices.

  3. To the only woman at work not on her period, there’s a book you should read called Queen Bees and Wanna-Bees, all about manipulative girls and women and how they operate to promote their own self-serving agendas, and including ways to recognize and deflect their attacks and keep yourself sane. Check the web, too, google “manipulative women” and see how alone you aren’t. This is a pretty common workplace complaint, the worst part is, they will try to make you look bad first, so that when you complain, you come across as having a personal problem with them. Trifling, miserable bitches.

  4. I work in a predominatly male office. There are 27 people on my floor, only 3 of us are female. The gossip around here doesnt stop. These guys are so insanely, pathetically competitive with one another, and they talk behind eachother’s backs constantly. It’s testosterone city here, and these guys remind me of a bunch of roosters, clucking around with their chests all puffed out, bragging about this, insulting that. It really is sad!!

  5. NMH, thank you..and i’m going to have to agree that men can be just as bad as women, if not worse. I work in an area where i’m the only female. There are offices close by where other women are working, but in my ‘department’, there’s about 30 guys, and me. I’ve seen some major blowups, and it’s all to do with a bunch of idiot men who all want to be right about everything. The smallest instance can quickly escalate into the biggest pissing contest you’ can imagine, and then there are the insults! It’s always interesting to watch, but i’m starting to think my eyes may actually roll right out of my head. Pathetic..and i never hessitate to tell them all how stupid and childish they look. Someone needs to.The difference is that women are katty and sneaky. Men aren’t nicer to each other, they’re just idiots.

  6. Haha Poop, it sounds like we work in the same office! I need some sort of braces for my eyeballs to keep them from permanently rolling into the back of my skull!! It’s starting to hurt! It’s ridiculous that women are blamed for all the cattiness..what a joke.

  7. Now I understand that it is not intentional but poop and NMH; you sound like you posted as a tit for tat retaliation for what has been said about a certain female personality type (Queen Bees and Wanna-Bees). To be perfectly honest my office is 27 men and there has been nothing like what you have described, though it certainly is not surprising what you have experienced. It still seems like petty tit-for-tat posting though.

  8. maybe just a bad case of PMS or bi-polar chicks? the former would only happen once a month each person, the other? well!!!not an expert on this, so i am just guessing like Christopher’s theory on tree bashing heh!heh! i’ve never worked in an all women office before; not sure if i want too now

  9. Whatever. The original post was about female co-workers being conniving assholes. I think we’re all aware that male coworkers can be conniving assholes too. The original poster works with women, and that IS who she’s blaming for all the cattiness in her workplace. I was just relating to that with my response/suggestion…

  10. Working in a mostly male workplace isn’t always a picnic either (speaking from experience), but there is a different dynamic for sure.As a woman – in a male-dominated society – I’ve experienced my fair share of bullshit. I’m NOT blaming men here, but our society certainly promotes the kind of petty jealousy and cattiness/competitiveness amongst women that this bitch was about. It’s really sad that we treat eachother this way. Can’t change society but I try my best not to take part in all the gossip/backstabbing/petty jealousy.
