To the people I saw destroying the signboard of the church across from my house, come on! I happened to be watching you as you worked out your plan to slyly change around the wording. I was amused up to the point where you proceeded to break the glass and bulb of the sign, whereupon you panicked and ran off without altering the words themselves. Today I had to watch an old man struggle to fix the broken glass while the snowstorm started. I’ve taken my fair share of pot shots at that church from the comfort of my living room, but senseless damage without any sort of wittiness or bravado? Pitiful. Have the guts to follow through next time. —Couch Cop

  1. So vandalism ceases to be vandalism when it has wit? I’d be on side with you CC if you had possessed the guts to call the real police at the first sign of property damage, or had helped the old man fix the sign in the snowstorm.

  2. OP… you’re a real asshole…. “Oh, it was all fine and dandy until you broke the glass……..” So would it have made things any better if that old man only had to struggle to rearrange all the letters back from whatever profane phrase/words were put up there by the “amusing vandals”???? Little do you know that you actually attend church yourself… the church of Latter-Day idiots…..

I would tag this bitch as totally invalid and a waste of disk space on the Coast servers.

  3. I love it when people take the “G” out of the Angus Burger advertisements at MacD’s. Funny stuff.

  4. It may not be going to church, but it could definitely be a religious experience. 😛

  5. Op, you witnessed vandelism and you didn’t report it? Obviously you had enough time to watch them plot their method, smash the glass and bulb, etc.

  6. You’re every bit as guilty as the punks themselves. You witnessed vandalism taking place and yet you did nothing about it? Nice. Citzen of the year award right there.

  7. Sign in Sackville has said BIG GIRL 69 for a while. I personally enjoy a good joke. Vandalism is going to happen, might as well make someone laugh.

  8. And churches often have funnier signs that we can imagine, but put up by the church themselves.

Last christmas I saw one that said something along the lines of “God’s gifts comes wrapped in people”. Human wrapping paper. Genius.

  9. I think the OP is a jerk for not doing anything. They actually did damage. If there was no damage and the letters were just all changed around then I wouldn’t be judging….but I would have helped the old man fix it.

  10. so now all the cops have to do, is line up holes in glass, and they will point to you o.p., didn’t you ever watch any crime scene re-enactments and the little pointy sticks with laser lights on them. wow, are you fucking dumb for saying that, ocifer tim, haul him away. cuff em and stuff cletus.

  11. I can’t believe you saw what was going on and didn’t do anything to stop it…and to top it off, you didn’t even help the old man after! You are just as guilty as the vandals.

    Loser.

  12. hahaha so many whiney self righteous weiners post here.

i’m sure you all would legitimately call the police if that was you..

  13. There was a sign at Sobey’s a few months ago that said “GRAPES 59 cents a pound” or whatever the price was, and someone took off the ‘G’ and ‘R’ to make it apes 🙂 For some reason I found it mighty funny just because I like lame jokes!

  14. HAHA I can’t believe you twats bitching at the OP. It’s not like they witnessed a rape or something.
