To all the metro transit drivers out there please leave your girlfriends at home when you go to work. It is distracting and dangerous. I am tired of getting on the bus only to have to try and get by her because she is blocking the aisle and acting like a horny fool. I wish I could bring people to work and get paid for it.

I see OP has witnessed the phenomenon known as bus bunnies. These are females who hang around male drivers for multiple trips, getting to know them, talking about anything in particular, probably “layovers” as well, though that might be stretching it. Besides, bus drivers do bring people to work and get paid for it. How else do all those people downtown get to work in the morning?Yes, they exist in male form to female drivers too. Groupies.
Some people really dig the uniform. You could tell them that you have to drive but if they are throwing themselves over you, you might just let them keep talking to boost your ego. That’s a perk for wearing the suit… That and being a pizza delivery driver…
I’ve noticed that too, what an odd thing to do, hit on the bus drivers. Although I guess they do have wheels and a well paying job.
Have you ever seen these women who hang around the front of the bus constantly jabbering in the bus driver’s ear??? They clearly are only killing time before they have to return to the NS for more medication. And they are obviously illiterate because there is a big sign that reads “passengers must be behind this line”…and they are always crossing that line. Fuckin wierdos….Jeez, I sure don’t miss takin the bus!
plastic driver guy has this one…… GROUPIES…i cant believe that bus drivers have groupies. They get on the bus each day and flirt like hell with these dudes. Its funny to watch sometimes because the driver feels like a star.
