Mad props to the Dartmouth motorists driving by Sullivan’s Pond around 9:00 Saturday morning. Your kindness in heeding the traffic directions of the demented Tom Clancy look-alike trying to herd the world’s dumbest ginger cat off of the road was greatly appreciated by all parties involved. The wee beastie was friendly, well fed, collared and tagged and clearly loved by her owners. She is also woefully unstreetsmart. Hope you all had a terrific weekend… And they think I hate gingers. 1. I’m hoping the ginger kitteh was let out by accident.

I had a cat, though that’d do this. He wasn’t dumb he was just lazy and thought he was the shit. He was so lazy that once he didn’t get off the car roof and ended up going for a ride to the end of my street. heh.

    Also: Ivan? Dat you?

  2. Bahaha – I love this post, Colonel. Good on you! That’s why I’d never let my kitteh out. He’s as dumb as a post.

Though I DID buy him a new harness and leash so we can go outside together if the sun ever comes out again.

  3. I would never let Moscar (hee molly+oscar) out either. Their breed just doesn’t provide them with the skills to make it outside. They’re too trusting of other animals and would get beat to shit and/or killed and eaten.

  4. One o’ the best. And I’d have to put “The Searchers” up there with “The Wild Bunch” & “The Good, the Bad & the Ugly” as the 3 best dusters ever made. IMHO.

  5. I just watched Seven Samurai not too long ago. It was quite good. I’m glad they didn’t dub it.

  6. Oooh I think I know that Sullivan’s Pond Ginger kitteh :D!! He’s such a sweetie! So sweet that I think he thinks cars are his friends too. Whenever I would park near the pond to visit my pa, little Pekoe was always there, sitting under my car or someone else’s. And sometimes he would jump into my car when I opened the door :D! And I saw him jump into someone’s open trunk once too. He’s sooo sweet and I’m so glad no one has run him over yet <3!!

  7. A very friendly kitty indeed. After much patting he followed me for about 10 feet but lost interest. I’m just glad I got to write a Love rather than a sad, angry Bitch.

  8. i hate dubbed movies too 195, unless it’s for the comedic effect. “what’s up tiger lily?” was okay. i like some of his movies but he kinda creeps me out

  9. that was awesome ralmn…we have baby corbies, you can always tell ’cause they start rawking at about 4 a.m. still foggy here, any sunshine in noveau brunswick?

  10. Aww – Babies! That’s really cool. Any sight of them yet?

No sunshine here – but no rain either. This weather is royally depressing. 🙁 Hope the sun comes out by next weekend – I’m back in the ‘fax and running the bluenose!

  11. aah yes , i remember you mentioning that. i know many folks who are running. the crows watch me and i watch them… i have the seen the wee ones hopping from branch to branch. they have been keeping an eye on us for many moons

  12. Lovin’ it Ralmn. If it weren’t for the scruffy chin fringe of ginge I’d say Princess Beatrice was well on her way to a solo career^^^.
Methinks our corbies have young ‘uns as well. As I was watching Tora, Tora, Tora two of them were loudly practicing strafing runs on the Countess as she twitched back and forth on the balcony.
SOBova may be manning a water station next Sunday…and she may try to guilt me into going along. >; )
