i’m so sick and tired of sitting on the bus beside some fat fuck who insists on holding her purse, and her knapsack, AND her nylon lunchbag in her lap — causing her arms to stick out at right angles, either jabbing into my ribs or hanging there in front of me.
put your shit on the floor, bitch! give the rest of us some room.
this also goes for you fat-fuck guys (don’t want to seem sexist here) who sit there with your knapsack in your lap, and your arms AND LEGS shoving themselves into my space.
i understand body size may not be a personal choice, and there could be legitimate medical reasons for your excess girth — but, for crying out loud, have a bit of consideration and try to minimize the amount of space you take up and PUT YOUR SHIT ON THE FLOOR.
you guys were bitching a while back about people who like to sit on the aisle seat, and who don’t automatically move over? maybe it’s because they don’t want to be stuck beside these fat fucks.
thank you.

good to know you aren’t sexist squashed….you hate fat people equally. good job.
I’m starting to wonder if it’s the same person writing all of these fat bitches.
So, do you propose they put their stuff on the seats next to them, taking seats away from other people?? Have you looked on the floor of the bus lately with all the dirt and wet snow…? It’s a free country… they are free to sit there with their stuff and you are free to stand or take another bus! Get a grip!
I think poster has a point: it’s not about body size, it’s about courtesy. There’s no reason not to put a knapsack on the floor of the bus, they’re designed to be carried in inclement weather, they can take it.People, of any size, who gather up all their belongings and hold them in their lap do tend to take up more space than they ought to or need to.
I’m not putting my stuff on the filthy floor of the bus. Sorry. Not gonna happen.
like ern said, i’d prefer that people put their stuff on their laps instead of putting them on the seat next to them. it’s ok when it’s a bus with like 3 people on it, but when that seat next to them is one of only like 2 that are available on the whole bus, it’s a bit assholish. In my book, you pay for ONE bus seat, you take up ONE bus seat.also, what makes the bitcher think that the fat person will have room down there for their stuff on the floor? because they have skinny legs?
hrm transit should base the fare on body weight….let’s face it. transit momentum is mass divided by acceleration and acceleration is mass times momentum. it costs more to propel larger mass than a smaller one…read that for the challenged…weigh less…costs less…stand on the scale and pay your share…like some American airlines…take two seats, you pay for two…thank God. take up two seats..pay for two and give the rest of us calorie watchers a break. now if we can only apply this to the suv strollers on the road to Sackville.
Oh Try to enforce that David??!! Good luck!
yeah, I prefer to hold my stuff, and make your life a living hell. Suck it up.
As a former person of size, it’s damn hard to put anything on the floor and then retrieve it. For some, it’s a physical impossibility. And like Miranda said, who the hell wants to put anything on the floor of a bus?
Fat or skinny, unless you’re a midget, when you reach down to get the stuff you’ve placed on the floor between your ankles, your face is going to end up flattened up against the grimy back of the seat in front of you; there’s no leg room! And the bottom of your bags are going to be soaked in mud, water, and molecules of shit and puke from the sidewalk. I’ve been squashed in my seat many times by people on the bus, most of the time by regular sized people who read a huge newspaper next to me and insist on extending their arms out to be as wide as the open paper, so that I’ve got their hand hovering 2 inches away from my nose! And if they happen to have BO…now that’s irritating
I totally agree NMH! Now those people are annoying and they should know better …
“momentum is mass divided by acceleration and acceleration is mass times momentum”David, your math skills need some work, and your knowlege of physics is pretty weak. If you’re going to try to use scientific arguments, you really should know what you’re talking about.
Miles loooooooooool Miranda and NMH I totally agree. I wouldn’t like tripping over someone’s crap on the floor been there done that in Toronto! I think this OP has a thing for fat people and its ok honey if you do, just don’t hide it! Shout it gladly to the world!
how long do you think the city would remain in the bus business if they FORCED people on a scale to determine their fare? not too long, I don’t think…the hatred in your post towards big folks is amazing to me…maybe you need to get yourself some wheels, since MT seems to no longer serve your needs as a passenger.
I meant “response” not post…my apologies to the poster, but your hatred of bigger folks is still amazing to me…
“good to know you aren’t sexist squashed….you hate fat people equally. good job.”awesome.
I agree with Miranda. Usually the bus floor is slushy and dirty, fat chance I’m going to put my shit down there.
