If you put something on the site to SELL and someone shows interest in said item wouldn’t the best plan of action be to, I don’t know, be available when you say you’re going to be? I understand that people work/have lives etc but if you say you’re available for pick up at such and such a time then shouldn’t you just do that? Especially when said item is large enough that a truck is needed to take it away? Or at least let the buyer know your availability has changed! I had to borrow a truck and monopolize someone else’s time not once but TWICE now. —Common courtesy not so common

And whats with the please contact crap? If your selling something just put the price. A Squier is not a Fender and an Epiphone is not a Gibson; although they are the parent companies, they are not the same.
I’ve accepted low ball offers several times just to get rid of shit and not havign to deal with buyers, to have them still not show up or not respons. People get a thrill out of this seagull offering – swoop in, shit everywhere and take off.
The other fucking thing that gets me with selling shit on Kijiji is those people who respond with “I can get it here, there, from so and so, online etc. for X amount”. Well you know what? go get it from so and so – why are you even interested in my item? What? is this your way of making an offer? then make an offer, but dont bullshit with this – so and so has it for cheaper. Then, they will email you ads of not similar products (i.e. you told me my cell phone case for an iphone was over priced then you sent me the proof (which I didnt even request, I just thanked you for your feedback) which was a fucking ad for a Samsung case… and a different brand case too… fuck you people are insane. I’m just going to throw my shit out or smash it up and take pics for you potential buyers to be jealous that i’d rather destroy the shit then give it away.
Oh yea – another kijiji thing I hate “Can you hold it until (insert arbitrary amount of time here)”. Sure, I will hold it but if somone else gets it first, i’ll let you know and you can move on. BTW, everytime somone asked me to hold it and I still had the item? *poof* you disappeared come the “hold it” date. So fuck off with that too.
If you want a penpal to discuss prices join a consumer reports forum or some other shit. Just stop responding to my posts with zero intent or means or interest to go any futher.
