I have listened to you cry, bitch and whine for the last 2 years. So you told him you like him and he didn’t reciprocate – it is time to MOVE THE FUCK ON. Not only does your constant bitching about everything he does (or doesn’t do) make all your mutual friends feel awkward and weird, it is driving people away, including me – your best friend. He has even distanced himself from you in an attempt to help you move on and create space, and yet you still just keep the pity party going. There have been lots of great guys approach you but every time you find some lame excuse or act “holier than thou” and turn them down and I’m sick of it. I’m tired of listening, offering advice, being a shoulder to cry on when you obviously don’t care to move on and just want everyone to feel sorry for you. Well I’m sorry, because this pity well has dried up and when you are the only one still single in our group, bitter and watching from the outside I hope you’ll realize that you have no one to blame but yourself. —Done Being Dear Abby!

You go, OP!!!
i like that “this pity well has dried up”
Ditto PG. Yeah, we’ve all been there. 2 years? And they never even got together? Wow. Give it to her straight OP.
Maybe your friend has OCD and has a hard time moving on and should be cut some slack?
Or maybe she just needs to get a fucking clue a get some coping skills?
Either or.
the dear suckster column is now open. pour it out to me girls, i will try and fit you all in to my busy day.
Sounds like that chick has a case of the crazies. Ditch her!
Sounds like your friend needs some tough love and maybe a therapist. If that doesn’t work and it’s bringing you down so much … you can’t fix her … either lessen your role in her life or eliminate it.
Sounds like this girl has some terribly obsessive behavior. Just her that she’ll have to deal with her favourite obsession alone because you’re tired of hearing about it. Two years is way too long for this to be going on. The lady has issues OP, you can’t solve them.
Be nice to your friend. Someday you might need her to be nice to you. Won’t be cool if her “pity well” is dry then.
