Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve seen the same fat guy on a green scooter riding up and down the multi-use trail along Lake Banook. My hunch is that the scooter is electric and I notice that he does not have any plates for it, but it definitely does not fall under the category of bicycle or wheelchair. I’ve read the Motor Vehicle Act over and there is absolutely no way this machine should be allowed anywhere except the road.

So get off the trail! It’s for pedestrians, cyclists, skaters, etc. not for you! If you aren’t confident enough to ride it in real traffic, then maybe you should stick to walking. —Also, Please Stop Staring Like a Creep

  1. One of those wheelie fucktards was holding up the 10-items or less line at the grocery store today at noontime, and out-rightly refused to let the cashier put his groceries in his bag (she noticed the line of people getting annoyed at his total disrespect for the people behind him). Instead he would pick up one item, stare at it and then put each item slowly in his lap-pack (it was a backpack but not on his back). So I know what you mean OP. How can we flatten their tires?

  2. Is he being a problem? Is he riding too fast etc? If so then yes I agree. If not and he’s being courteous then who cares? Also what does his weight have to do with anything?

  3. OH MY FUCKING GOD, ARE YOU CRAZIES AT IT AGAIN. FUCK THE TRAILS, GET A LIFE, AND KEEP YOUR NOSE OUT OF IT. one of these days o.p., someone is gonna really fuck you up.trails are called multi use for a reason, multi means more than one. and i bet you bitch when people take their dogs to, right? what about fucking horses then, are they okay with you?????

  4. Scooter as in a wheelchair looking thing, or scooter as in looks like kind of like a Vespa? My ex used to have an electric scooter (that looks on the outside like a Vespa)- it was technically considered a bicycle because it had pedals (removable). So she wasn’t allowed to ride on the sidewalks, or would get death glares from people thinking it was gas powered, and when she rode on the street, people thought she was a tool for only going 30 (when that’s as fast as they will go). Sucked.

  5. To clarify, this is a vespa like scooter – not a wheelchair like scooter.

And he’s going way too fast weaving around pedestrians, children, etc.
