To all those Jerry-Springer-Guests–Waiting-to-happen who stood outside screaming at Suzanne Boudreau. Everyone agrees that a young girl being murdered is awful. And murderers do deserve to be punished. Especially when they kill kids. But at this point, unless you morons have undeniable proof that it was her, shut up! They have arrested her, not convicted her. The police have been wrong before (Donald Marshall, David Mylgard, Robert Baltovitch, etc). Innocent until proven guilty. If she is found guilty, fine. But if it turns out that she is in fact innocent, you just taunted some lady about her daughter dying! I just hope that the judge and jury have more brains that you inbred hillbillies.

Justice before lynching

  1. I thought the same thing when I saw that on the news JBL. Seems a little premature to be acting like the woman is guilty, however, I do suspect the town feels more than a little betrayed for being lied to by her if she is guilty. And let’s ease up on the small-town-bashing a little can we? I don’t imagine Halifax is immune to similar Springfield-esque outbursts.

  2. I’ve heard many people say that she is evil, horrible, blah blah blah for killing her daughter. I always ask what proof do you have/have heard that she did kill her? I get a blank look or no response and that is that. Without hearing why the cops think it is her, you say if she is innocent or guilty.

  3. It seems that I can’t write today. The last part of the last sentence should read “how can you say she is innocent or guilty?” My apologies!

  4. I have to agree with the original statement, as a resident of Bridgewater for five years now it was quite disheartening to watch the newscasts of our town and how the welfare bums that can’t take their cigarettes out of their mouths long enough to form a coherent sentence being the only ones shown.I must say though that despite what was shown and heard, there are a select few residents of Bridgewater that realize the term “Innocent until Proven Guilty” does mean something in our courts of law, and are deeply saddened when we hear someone in the crowds heckle lines such as, “Go kill another kid” I guess it goes to show what a douchebag mentality will do to a small town’s reputation.
