To the guy in Tim Horton’s who but in on my conversation with my friend: Spare me your delicate sensibilities and complaints about profanity. How do you walk around in public 24/7 without being constantly offended is beyond me. Also lets be truthful here, your opposition was not to my choice of words but to the point of view I was expressing to my friend. Picking on profanity is the last vestige of someone who does not like your argument and has lost theirs. —I don’t

  1. Doesn’t sound to me like you out-argued him at all. And let’s be honest Sport – if you need to resort to talking blue, you’re probably debating from emotion, rather than reason.

  2. Swearing in public is trashy, as is spitting. Sadly, I see WAYYYYYYY too many trashy people in Halifax….we’ll never be a cosmopolitan city when the majority of the people are spitting, swearing (in public), reeking of pot (I don’t care if you smoke it; just don’t smell like you bathe in it) rough rednecks.
