damn your eyes ivan! I just spent 45 minutes watching python clips!
When I lived on Isleville it used to irk me to no end when people would pronounce it “eyes-ville”. Fucking derps.
It’s plain as can be for those with “isle” to see!
so what is it? i’ll-ville ?
sometimes the ‘correct’ pronunciation of something used as a word is not the correct pronunciation of the word used as a name.
eg. portage avenue in Winnipeg. the proper way to pronounce portage is the French way, ‘to portage the canoes’ port-TAJ……but in Winnipeg, the street name is pronounced PORT-ahg
It’s historically been pronounced “eyes”-ville.
Eyes-ville is correct not Aisle-ville
As it’s past where Gottingen turns into Novalea, that means that the swarmers are a tad more polite and the knife they shank you with is at least cleaned off after the last stabbing.
good grief. two posters use the S pronunciation and two say no S .
Izzleville, my nizzle.
Clearly it’s “Throat-Warbler Mangrove”
You, OP, would be irate using my gps…
It’s a Navgon and pronounces every street with a german accent.
