If stations are charging the Maximum it is the station not regualtion that should be getting the blame. In halifax the price is only at the max for a few hours before stations drop the price. It only takes one station to drop the price and the others will follow. NB also has a 4.8 cent/litre fixed tax advantage + HST on that = 5.5 cents/litre. the rest of the difference is just the regulation models and the day they set prices. NB sets a day earlier than NS.
It’s prety simple actually:us bending over and letting the government have their way with us as they do with everything else. Cause we love bing taxed to death on everything as it does give us something to bitch about.
Gas regulation was to provide ‘a stable price’ not one politician toted it as ‘lowering gas prices’. The opponents to regulations actually said ‘the price will be higher’.The regulations let the gas stations do this. Sorry. Tough beans. Don’t buy gas then./biker
