I can’t stand people who can’t do anything by themselves. Do you really need someone by your side for every move you make? Can you even ride the bus alone, or go to the mall alone, or go to the gym alone, or sit at the coffee shop alone? How annoying, and how needy can one be. I can’t stand people 97% of the time. I love love love being alone. I find joy in the simple things in life, and it’s really sad that some people cannot. I could spend a whole weekend alone and be perfectly content. I find people (my age) in this city to be quite immature anyway, especially first/second year university students who spend all their money on alcohol, fail nearly every exam, and eat fast food. Maybe I am just very mature for my age. When I see the same people together all the time, I actually feel sorry for them. One day they’ll be in shock when they come face to face with no one but themselves. Independence is a blessing. —Miss Independent

You wouldn’t believe how peacefull it is out here today…I can’t even hear the traffic that goes by up the lane from me. Because of the snow fall THEEEREE barely is any. I just came in from splitting some kindling, have a toasty fire in my woodstove going, a cup of joe with a big splash of bailey’s in it. My slow cookers heating my supper & it smells great.
