@ioughta- I do have hope that someday I will fall mutually in love with someone but I also value my singledom…..I can wait a long time for him to show up. Meanwhile I’ll just enjoy life.

Thank god I actually DO get out and away from my computer! Don’t know if my single status is due to choice or circumstance but hey…celibacy ain’t so bad!

I think people judge me before they meet me, as we all do, and assume I’m only one thing…..
@ King Nothing- Agreed. I can’t say I’m actively looking…maybe just passively looking. With all my friends getting married and having kids (two things I don’t really care about) one has to wonder if there is something wrong with herself or if she’s made some wrong decisions. I truely do enjoy being single but there’s that silly instinct to couple that I have to squish down into a ball in my stomache. Things are definitely alright! As for the cats, I will never become the cat lady…..ever!!

enjoy being single… and hopefully spontaneous. that’s one thing that will definitely diminish with someone else relying on your schedule.

Some days (like the day I posted “future Lover”) are a bit lonely but 90% of the time I am happy to be on my own schedule and selfishly indulgent in my own wants and needs. I know I’m a good person and probably ain’t that hard on the eyes, although I know that is completely subjective.
