You lazy bastards! Start securing the loads in the back of your trucks! 3 times in the last 4 weeks my windshield has fallen victim to your laziness!

1st time, cost me $160 to get fixed. 2nd time, small chips, ignored it. 3rd time, this morning, fucking DESTROYED my windshield!! This isn’t following behind trucks, this is PASSING THEM ON THE HIGHWAY!

FUCK YOU! I’m a student, working 3 jobs trying to save some money. Do your job and save my windshield! —Rock Magnet

  1. And of course you didn’t get a plate number or vehicle number or company name and then call the company for compensation, did you? Too much hassle I bet.

  2. These trucks are insured by the companies that own them and deal with this sort of thing all the time, you just have to report it.

  3. They are responsible for anything coming off their load !
You simply get their number, & call it in . If your on a highway with a scale on it…like the 102 by the airport or Enfeild, go to the scale & report that rocks have taken out your windsheild.
I did that once & the guy was called in & said “I’ve got a load of asphalt it couldn’t have been me”

I said what about all the loose 6 inch rocks on the back area of your chassis, they checked sure enough he hadn’t cleaned his truck off after hauling gravel.
I got his companies number I called & they paid for my new windsheild ~:)

  4. call the cops on them instead of bitching here, and then talk to a lawyer about there dangerous practice of having unsecured loads.

  5. Bro Tim…..dump trucks, etc do not have license plates on the rear of the vehicle, so the OP can’t report them. I’m not entirely sure why the province doesn’t make them put plates on the back though.

  6. I am the OP, Each time this happened, I was driving past them, going the opposit direction. Got the company name, they won’t answer my calls. bah. $350 to replace my windshield.

  7. Zoli, Ok – you’ve posted here, good start. The company won’t take your calls, not so good. I don’t even know if it’s still in existance, try calling “On Your Side”, ATV I think.
