  6. Hey Painuchka, Red Dawn is on History Television this afternoon. And while there’s only about 45 minutes of good movie in it (should have killed the kids off in the 1st ten minutes; the adult actors are infinitely more interesting) all I can say is – Any Reagan-era Right-wing sabre-rattling flick that references such left-wing sabre- rattling flicks as “Alexander Nevsky” and “Battle of Algiers” can’t be all bad. Of course, any film that has C.Thomas Howell, Lea Thompson and Charlie Sheen in the cast, can’t be all good.
    So put aside logic and troubling questions like “How” and “Why” and have a good larf. Your Spetsnaz beret is in the mail. Vive les corbeaux, vive les taureaux et vive l’ours. Il est tres heureux. Formidable.
