I have been having problems walking for months. A few nights ago I was in back/hip agony and even with only a 15 minute walk I desperately needed to take a taxi home. I jumped in the taxi and the driver asked how I was. I said: “In Pain”. He was so sympathetic and kind. How terrible for me and debilitating etc. Half way home I asked it he took VISA. He didn’t, so I apologized and asked if he wanted me to go upstairs and get some money for him. He then said: “No, that’s too much trouble for you. The ride is free!!” There are good people in this world. Thanks, taxi man!

Might not have even been worth his while to wait for you, especially if he had other calls to get to. Still nice of him anyway though!
