This one goes out to the organizers of a certain large ethnic festival hosted at a church. Your website says there is a FREE park & ride shuttle from 12-9 today.
What your website failed to mention was who was doing the shuttle, and where people could pick it up. Worse, said shuttle never showed up. This lead many people to come to me, the lowly #15 driver and ask where the shuttle was, why was I charging for rides, who is doing the shuttle, why isn’t it here, does this bus go downtown, do I make change, etc… Granted, people ask me if I go downtown no matter what route I drive, but still. I can’t blame any of them because you sold them on having a FREE shuttle service like you had last year. Oh well, thanks for the extra business.
And will someone please help me get The Littlest Hobo out of my head?

There was a free shuttle offered that I did take to and from said festival, the website does say that it was leaving from west end mall, and the shuttle driver was very busy. Sorry you could not find it but i was a large Van that was running all day long.
Last year, the shuttle was very clearly marked and the pickup point was on the street side of Mumford terminal. There was a sign and everything. This year, they either started late (I didn’t see any sign of one for the 1:40 trip out on the 15) or changed the pick up point.
Also on said events web site it gave you full detaisl on said shuttle
The only info mentioned on
http://www.greekfest.org/ was:
Free Park & Ride Shuttle Bus
(Fri 4-9pm Sat 12-9pm Sun 1-9pm)
West End Mall to Greek Fest & Back
No mention of the bus drop off/pick up location at the mall property, no mention of “follow the signs” or any useful advice.
There was not a sign and that would have been helpful but it is not that large of an area and was pretty easy to find and it did start late (about 15mins) as I was on the 1st shuttle of the day and we did not leave till 12:15, but the driver did say on the way back (2:15)he was busy and that people did have to wait fdor the next shuttle on a couple of runs.
