How big is it? Can you deliver? Will it fit in a car? I noticed a scratch in it, will you repair it for me? Can you help pay for my gas? —It is Free! Get It?

I get where you’re coming from with the the majority of those questions being stupid. But maybe people ask how big it is because they want to know if they have room for it in their car and especially if they have room for it wherever the fuck they’re putting it. Put more detail in your ad if you don’t want people to have questions! An maybe people don’t want to take a chance using gas money to drive to your place only to find out your office desk is an ugly piece of shit. It would also be a waste of their time.
put stuff on side of road, if it’s electronics and it works put an “it works” sign up. i have no problem getting rid of stuff
Maybe it’s best not put in an ad at all. Just leave it out there. I know around these parts, things don’t last on the side of the road long. I remember putting out a desk and a chair. I put out the desk first and by the time I came out with the chair (5 minutes maybe) the desk was already getting loaded onto somebody’s truck and they took the chair too.
