They should at the very LEAST give us free bus fare for the same amount of time the buses were out. —Unhappy Customer

  1. i posted a new bitch on friday, was a no show and it wasn’t about the strike. so everyone can fuck right off, but you can fuck off later, if you don’t want to fuck off right now. thank you

  2. if i didnt have to pay for your free rides then id say sure. but nothing is really free and in this case all we are doing is passing the cost on to the taxpayer.

we need to pass a mandate that the metro transit become self sufficient without relying on outside funds.

  3. blah blah blah, yeah i pay lots of taxes, i don’t ride the bus, either. i hope the sun fucking explodes, suck it the fuck up all you stupid fuckfaces

  4. the ones that bought bus passes for february get to use those for april. which is fair. because they spent however much it costs for one. i feel if you don’t buy passes you don’t use the bus enough to really complain about this. and they are making sure those who put their money to transit use recieves something for the inconvenience

  5. Its better than a kick in the teeth OB, just be happy that they are coming back and shut your piehole

  6. OP sounds like a sandy cunt flap …

The 1st world is nice isn’t it OP … (Notice, that was not a question.)

  7. No, it’s not very PG … but … I think she said what we’re all thinking.

    I like it!

  8. yes yes yes to all your questions. those pictures are cool, clint, i’ve been to his site

  9. lol @ sandy cunt flap….I think I dated her once…:S

  10. Nothing is free. The tax payers that don’t even use the buses have to pay for this nice gesture.

  11. Nice bike PG. What is it, an electric bike, scooter? I’m not an expert on bikes though I am looking for one to ride this summer instead of one of our old beaten-up jalopies. Time to lose the gas guzzling money pit and go green. I’m thinking a hybrid bike, I do not plan on off-roading but we have a lot of big hills around here.
As for free bus and ferry rides, it is a gesture might as well take advantage of it if you’re a commuter. Six weeks of free passes would be ideal and just but the city probably can’t afford it.

  12. OP- I am with you being one of the thousands having had unreasonable hardships placed on me financially and medically because of this strike…

I have been advocating for AMNESTY APRI (plus rest of March free)L….to offer us half a month is akin to offering us half a sandwich and say be full on that….they are throwing us bananas because they know they will get away with it…AMNESTY APRIL…..the entire month plus March

  13. Well paingirl IMO everyone deserves to pop off once in awhile…keeps us from really losing it & killing the neighbors/family member or some other random individual~:p

  14. Good for you, Painey-keeps us on our toes–

I do have to say, though, that I found $70/month for a transit pass to be exorbitant–then I checked the rates for other Canadian cities and was I surprised to see that HRM is actually relatively low.

so this is what I don’t understand-here in the states, Aesop pays about $35 for a monthly bus pass (only in the summer because uni employees get a free ride during the school year.)

So why is it so much more in Canada than in the fascist old US? I would think the gov’t would take a lively interest in public transportation as a public good. Are there buses running on biofuel or electric or natural gas?
    I never saw any…

  15. because Canadians are greedy cunts and they know as a u nion they can get almost whatever they want. so demand a higher pay which means we need to pay more

  16. i agree it is a poor substitute for all the shit folks went thru. i would suggest riding that fucking thing the best part of everyday, if you don’t work. and make sure you bring lots of obnoxious music to boot.and let it be just loud enough to disturb the driver, but not the rest of the folks riding. don’t forget, they are just as pissed as you are, and half or better than hallf the city.

  17. xeno, everything is cheaper in the states…
even the fucking maple syrup made here in canada is cheaper in the states.
    figure that one out.

    $4 a gallon… woe is you…
we’re already paying $5.40 a gallon and the driving season hasn’t even STARTED yet.
