I am a concerned parent and health consumer. Why is it that a number of so-called health practitioners, when you look into it, do not have the training they should? You asked me for a photo ID before you would permit me to book a session with you? That is a violation of my human rights. I should have access to your services if I am willing to pay for them! If that’s what you demand, I’ll seek it elsewhere. Also, you claim that your products/services cure cancer? That is an illegal claim.
You claim to have clinical/medical training yet do not take the time and effort to achieve them. Then you go and ‘teach’ others, misinforming them and misrepresenting facts. I am worried for our children. You can’t teach anatomy and medicine as part of their curriculum without having studied them first and having had some experience. People can’t just go around calling themselves doctors, they would be sued! So why is it that anyone can claim to be a healthcare professional? As a client, I have seen such a shocking lack of ethics that it alarms and disgusts me. —Health Watch

Why are you going to so-called alternative medicine (read snake oil salesmen) in the first place? It’s not hard to call yourself doctor, the internet hands them out like peanuts.
Hmmm, wtf r u talking about? Really, you are the one who looked for, found, and visited the quacks …… yep, it is a DUCK!
OP Your shocked that this “doctor’s” claim to cure cancer is false?! Really!!You think that this “doctor” would be practicing medicine in a shit hole like HRM with his/her billions of dollars he would/should have by finding the cure for cancer….I pity you,not for having cancer but,for your ignorance.
baking soda is the cure… everyone knows that….

yup.. okay.
If you cured cancer, you’d be dead before the next day’s headlines broke the story.
this has to be one of the most confusingly pretentious postings i’ve seen here. i believe my mum would have read it and said ‘well, lah dee dah for you’ .
and what ZZZ said about being dead. yup.
I thought Windex was the cure-all, zZz (a la My Big Fat Greek Wedding)
And maybe I’m wrong, I didn’t research this but how is asking for someone to identify themselves a violation of their human rights? Do you not have to show your health card when you go to the hospital?
Sodium bicarbonate? That stuff gives me gas.
bicarb should take away gas….how are you taking it TF? uh….orally, right? in water?
Orally? Damn!!
WTF is a “health consumer”? Looks like someone found out that homeopathy is a scam. Pbbbbfffffffftttttt…water memory!! Lol.
question here o.p., do you go to a gym, to look good, or lose weight? it can’t be both, you either want to be noticed, or to drop pounds and get fitter.
There’s a cure for everything.
Big pharmaceutical companies can’t make billions if everything was cured.
Its interesting that by claiming they’re wrong, that implies you yourself KNOW WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT enough to debunk them.
Fraud watch.
I see a naturopath and use some ‘alternative’ remedies to help certain health conditions and have only had great experiences. I’ve even been able to reduce my insulin intake and stop taking the bulk of the medications I was on.
I have no doubt there are scammers out there, but suggesting alternative medicine is a scam on the whole is ridiculous.
I mean a simple box of Align (OTC probiotic supplement) has done wonders on my IBS when conventional pharmaceuticals and a gastroenterologist only made things worse (dr wonderful’s big suggestion? Eat more fibre — when I explained fibre makes things worse. The fucker didn’t even listen to me!). And I’ve been able to cut out one of my two types of insulin almost completely since going to see my naturopath.
I mean, I’m in and out in 10 minutes with the doctors I see, yet my naturopath appointments (follow ups!) are at least 45-60 minutes!
All my medical doctors want to do is throw more pharmaceuticals at me, ffs!
I love you kitty, but as Tim Minchin said: “You know what they call alternative medicine that’s been proven to work? Medicine.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhGuXCuDb1…
