Yesterday, with the 28 degree weather, I craved a Pepsi or a Coke Slurpee. I couldn’t find them. Every place was selling no name flavours. I don’t like them. Many of the no name flavours taste like drink crystals instead of pop. Holy crap, HRM! I think you missed a few meetings on Slurpees. —Fuck You, I am Buying a Blender

  1. They used to have them at the gas station w/ the tims on Young, but the jerks got rid of them and replaced ’em with the shitty Kool-Aid ones. Pop slushies for life!

  2. Maybe if you forgo that crap you would look much better in your daisy dukes and cowboy boots …… How the hell did this become the de rigueur statement of summer 2012?

  3. no name is a generic cola, same as pepsi or coke. believe it or not, they are one and the same. just like tires, all are michelons, just have other names on them. t.v.’s, stereos, all that shit, is just made by the same companies, and sold under different brand names. the chap shit you buy, is the same as the expensive shit you buy. and yes, that is the fucking honest truth. call any t.v. repair place, they will tell you.

  4. Buy some beeswax, olive oil, peppermint essential oil, heat them, mix them. Richard’s packaging in Burnside for tubes. Best lip balm ever, for less than a dollar a tube.

  5. They used to have them at Esso’s I think they still do. I like the orange crush one. I love crush. Since we’re on the topic of piss offs involving beverages.

Bring Pineapple crush back to Nova Scotia!!! They only sell it in a couple stores in town, it used to be easier to find but they stopped distributing it here. PISSIN ME OFF!!!!

  6. Valid bitch!! I have been complaining about this for years – where did the slushies of my childhood go?
Remember the machines? They had a two-flavour setup, with cola on one side and usually Orange Crush on the other, but sometimes it was grape or root beer. I miss these sooo very much… *sob*

  7. The Maritimes have slushies… they’re garbage compared to Slurpees but most people here don’t know the difference.

  8. What’s the difference between a slurpee, a smoothie and a slushie? I’m asking, this isn’t a joke.

  9. Slurpee – a brand name.
    Slushie – a generic name.
Smoothie – made from natural ingredients (ie. fruit)
