There’s nothing quite like tasting the air around a local boy who’s sprayed an entire can of Axe on himself, or the bouquet of a local girl who spent the afternoon with the perfume samplers at Sears. Modern perfume and cologne has its origins in France. North American stores are packed with the stuff. How can the use of this stuff be a foreign constructed custom? France was a major ethnic contributor to both Canadian and American Societies. The North American fragrance industry sells this stuff in the millions to North Americans of European decent. So perhaps they are emulating our culture. I should know, I am a Fairbanks and we have been in this country since before it was a country. So I feel my family has had some influence on North American Culture. If you don’t believe what I have said, do some research. I do wonder about the character of the person you wrote this comment. Perhaps they are just scared. That seems to be a common theme these days. We need to move forward and not just label them as a racist. Although this maybe true it does not lead us into any constructive future.
