Hey guys. Thank you so very much for helping this really drunk woman carry a couch from the curb to my apartment three doors down. The reality is that you two did most of the lifting because I was falling and stumbling. I have no idea how I would have done it alone (who knows how!), but being very drunk and determined as I was, I would have found a way. Letting strangers into your house when you’re drunk sounds like a terrible idea. Also taking furniture from the sidewalk is a great way to get bedbugs.

OK, look. I’m sorry that I came off as negative. I’ve recently met someone who is making me reconsider some of my beliefs/opinions (some), maybe she’ll make me a better person one day. I am glad that you got your new couch and that the guys who helped you were nice people. I’m sure you are already aware that there are a lot of bad people in the world. Hope you have a good night.
