I would just like to say that I posted a bitch regarding a former employee at a coffee shop who was the worst boss I ever had who constantly called me nigger and embarrassed me infront of all of scotia square with his remarks for months. I would just like to say thanks to the readers for the support and that this bastard biggot is getting sued to no end! He messed with the wrong black man! And I can’t wait to see that fucker in court! Also going to blow the fucking lid off how unsanitary the work place is and I fucking wish I could say the name of the cafe here but unfortunately can’t. I’m still fumming over this asshole since the day I quit. There’s allot of stories involving this fucker and noone else has the fucking balls to report his abuse I am. He can kiss my fucking big black balls! Thanks again for the messages everyone and the support with the black community on this.

Hey, Mark, that’s great news! This sort of shit should not be tolerated and that moron should have to pay through the nose. He should be fucking deported for his deplorable behavior toward an employee. Public humilation is totally uncalled for and unacceptable. Here’s hoping his business goes tits up. I have to echo the other comments here. Way to go Mark, turn that fucker into a squeegee kid. I work @ the Square and I think I know what place you are talking about. Yup he deserves to be buried like the asshole that he is. Keep the good fight, that fucker deserves it.

While I agree totally with this bitch, I might add there are two cafe’s at Scotia Square that people may be looking at negatively. I know we can not quote them by name, but by saying Scotia Square you are giving people the ability to draw a conclusion as to which one it is. Just a thought.

I’ve often heard people make racist comments, even towards me. InHalifax, and other communities that I’ve lived in, andvisited.There are other businesses in Halifax which I can’t mention that also have racist views like the boss at this particular cafe. One in particular, a certain pub. I knew someonewho wasn’t let in because he wasn’t “old enough.”The bouncer knew who he was, and that he was old enough. It was because he was a minority. I think we allknow which bar this is without having to mention the name.It’s around everywhere. This behavior is notacceptable, but the world is not a perfect place. Thereare going to be good and nasty people where everyou may go. Mark is one of the good people who standsup against the nasty ones; and helps make his communitya better place.

WELL burning Man, there are 4-strict cafe’s (I forgot about the one by the old DQ), the Motherly place’s focus is food, and happens to have cheap coffee so a lot of people frequent, then there are a few restaurants that also happen to sell coffee.Now if you consider C&C across the pedway part of the square, I guess you could consider that as well. I condsider it more of a restaurant that happens to sell coffee, however, given it has coffee in the name I would have to include it in the cafe bracket, if you consider it in the square.
Ok perfect, now I know where it is. Now I don’t have to feel bad about my usual coffee stop. But where will the Bad Guy buy Couscous in Scotia Square now???
