ok, So being bored and curious by nature I went online to a free and well known dating website. I posted a made up profile of a guy in his mid-late 20’s with a good job and found a great pic of a good looking guy ( not me ). The hitch? The write up I did for the profile made the guy sound like a total sexist vain shallow asshole. I even went so far as to mentioned that “fat women” shouldn’t waste their time messaging me. I mean I really layed the “asshole” on nice and thick
the idea ( hope ) was that even though the pic was of a hot guy, women would see what a complete jerk the write up make this ficticious guy sound like and I would be inundated with emails telling me what a prick I was.
well within an hour i was baraged with emails alright. None of the women who wrote were angry with me or wanted to put me in my place. Just flity and complimentary on my smile, being handsome blah blah blah… I got about 10 emails in an hour then delted the account in disgust. I can honestly say I was expecting nothing less than to be flammed by anyone who read my profile, but no !
These I am sure are the same women who are always complaining aloud about how they seem to attract asshole and jerks and wonder why they can’t meet a decent guy.

I am sure for ever one woman who emailed me to flirt there were at least 10 who read the profile and rolled their eyes at me and mutter jerk under their breath. To those women, this bitch is in NO WAY directed at you and we need more people like you in this world.

I think I’ll try this for us *gasp* homos as well.. they seem to be the shallowest of all. Lets see how that goes.

Can’t agree with you more on how shallow some people are. Admittedly, I was once on that site and after getting tired of insincere jerks, I deleted my profil. In the age of online dating, I suppose I[ve cut myself off from a decent sized chunk of the dating pool, but better to be out of the shark infested water. *sigh*
I did a similar experience in the late 90s when I was co-moderator on an American bitch board and posted a profile of a good looking guy (used spouse’s photo – he was in on it) who, like yours, was a sexist pig. Women fell for it hook, line and sinker and I got over 50 e-mails looking for love, lust or whatever. It was a real wake up call to how powerful the internet can be.
Women are attracted to assholes. They like the challenge. I thought this was common knowledge?
You probably overestimate the number of people on those sites who have the attention span to actually READ the profile. They see a picture, and respond, then as the thing progresses, their friends who have been brought in on the “relationship” read the profile and see what an ass they both are.
I’m still curious about the results for the reverse experiment.
